Baby blog revamp

I gave my mommy blog a makeover! Yay!  All graphics were created on photoshop by yours truly.  The background is actually for a project I'm working on. I wanted to try it out to see what it looked like live, and I loved it so much I decided to keep it.  The header image is Ally's tummy! Teehee!

This is the old header.  It's a photo from the surprise baby shower last year.

 

It would've been perfect for the baby blog because, obviously, I love cupcakes.  But the photo's square, so I couldn't really crop it properly to make a good header.  And it was so huge you had to scroll way down to start reading the posts.  I used a ready-made blogger garden theme that looked cute, but wasn't really my style. So I decided to make a theme with a cupcake feel to it instead. I just love pastels, stripes, and polka dots!
